2 lbs plum tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
salt and black pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in serving bowl and toss well to serve.
This is especially delicious with heirloom variety tomatoes if you get lucky.
